It transforms from sweeping beaches to lush grazing land, epicurean delights to colonial outposts. That's what you'll experience when you combine the Coastal Calm and Convicts of the Road tours. This is a premeditated pilgrimage - seven days to indulge, to share and to contemplate the finer things in life at a pace that's sublime.
| day one Meet in Hobart (rated the world's third most photogenic city by Lonely Planet travel guide readers). Travel by van to St Marys. Ride down the coastline to a picnic lunch at the sleepy town of Bicheno. Pass by the blowhole on your way to the turn off to Coles Bay and ride all the way to Freycinet National Park and your overnight accommodation at Freycinet Lodge (world class coastal eco-lodge). |

| day two Free day to explore the area on a beach walk to famous Wineglass Bay (named one of the world's best 10 beaches by international magazine, Outside). Join the group after a sleep in, for a walk, then lunch on Wineglass Bay, the afternoon is yours to relax, ride to Friendly Beaches or play a spot of tennis. This evening join the twilight seakayak before a BBQ under the stars. Overnight: Freycinet Lodge. |

| day three Earlybirds this morning can visit Cape Tourville on the bikes or after breakfast we can go in the van. Depart for Freycinet Vineyard then take a 20km ride into Swansea for lunch at the infamous Left Bank. After refueling on the lemon tart walk it off at Meetus Falls and ride the downhill back into Swansea all the way to your resort accommodation. Enjoy cocktails on the balcony of your private sandstone cottage before dinner. Overnight: Deluxe b&b, Swansea. |

| day four Enjoy breakfast in your cottage this morning, then check out and depart for a visit to Kates Berry Farm nearby. Commence the most scenic ride of all along the coastal road from Swansea to Mayfield Beach then continue towards Orford. Ride or take the support van then the ferry to Maria Island National Park for a short visit. Explore painted cliffs and fossil rocks before return ferry to the mainland. A short transfer to overnight accommodation and casual dinner in Orford. |

| day five Depart on the bikes for a full morning's ride south. Continue down the east coast to cruise alongside Marion Bay and lunch at a stylish waterfront café in Dunalley. Transfer past Pirates Bay lookout on the Tasman Peninsula, to spend the afternoon exploring the Port Arthur Historic Site. Gourmet BBQ dinner at an historic colonial outstation. Overnight at a heritage b&b. |

| day six Half day cycling in the region, visiting convict-built coal mines with a picnic lunch at Lime Bay. Climb up to the top of a rocky hill to a thrilling descent down to the beautiful Fortescue Bay. After a picnic lunch and maybe a refreshing swim, drive to Cambridge for an osyter tasting at Barilla Bay. Ride it all off again on the road to Richmond (award-winning colonial village with Australia's oldest bridge and Catholic church). Overnight and dinner in a stylish b&b. |

| day seven Visit nearby Bonorong Wildlife Park to meet the local wildlife, then ride amongst the vineyards to Meadowbank Estate Vineyard Restaurant. A vineyard platter and good coffee later, take the final ride over Grasstree Hill to Risdon Vale then travel to classy Moorilla Estate for a wine tasting and some local cheeses. Transfer into Hobart for a 5:30pm finish. |
