Outdoorsy Types Walk and Cycle Tours
Itinerary overview
Take a walk on the wildside and get your fix of all things 'green' on this four day sojourn of
natural bliss. Touted as Australia's most famous landscape, the Cradle Mountain National Park
and its land of a thousand lakes is a massive swathe of wilderness just aching to be conquered.
Start the journey at Liffey Falls then cycle north west Deloraine then transfer on to Cradle Mt via a fabulous wildlife sanctuary.
Hike or stroll the labyrinth of trails in the untamed playground of Cradle mountain on day two followed by a ride to Tullah and maybe even a gentle canoe trip on the lake.
On day three take the wildside trail to awesome Montezuma Falls by mountain bike then continue on to the picturesque fishing village-come commercial hub of Strahan for the evening. Explore the town and outlying attractions before heading out Queenstown for a challenging ride up 99 bends and down the other side to Lake Burbury for lunch. Drop by Lake St Clair on your way heading back to Hobart at around 6.00pm.
